A couple of highlights: the staff at the counter were very accommodating, and despite a busy lunch rush when I arrived, the kitchen was operating smoothly. I received my meal just about five minutes after placing my order. The long communal table was filled with other solo diners like myself, but the atmosphere was cozy and inviting; I didn’t feel rushed to leave once I finished my meal. I appreciated that the ordering counter was located near the entrance, while the dining area was tucked away behind a glass wall at the back of the restaurant.
I have decided not to return to Salty Tongue after a disappointing experience. During a busy lunch hour, I witnessed the management verbally mistreat a hardworking staff member, which I found completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I inquired about the person yelling, the staff informed me that it was the owner. I was appalled and felt terrible for both the staff and the other customers present.
Friendly service staff. Decent coffee. Good sandwiches. I go by here quite a bit because i work in the neighborhood. There are always different sandwich, soup and salads daily, which i enjoy because it never gets old. Sometimes the daily special is a miss, but for the most part its good.

Salty Tongue Cafe is a lovely spot with a vibrant and beautiful atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food is not only tasty but also delicious, served with a smile by the friendly staff.
The counter staff were polite and helpful with describing the menu since it wasn't on the board. The food came with plenty of time for me to eat and walk back to the office.
I have yet to try something I did not like here. The Dublin fog and their breakfast menus are excellent and taste so delicious! Staff are friendly and helpful!
