Came in for dinner with my mom. Kayla was our server and she was prompt and amazing!! Such a sweet girl. She's a phenomenal server. The bar is a ten , the restaurant is clean and beautiful!! Ok so , I want to start by saying that my dad is an Italian chef for over 40 years, so I am very picky about Italian food. Especially meatballs! But I took a chance and ordered the meatballs. We started with them as an appetizer. I'm not even kidding when I say they are the best meatballs that I have ever had besides my dad's. my mom ordered the seafood pasta and it was loaded with all kinds of seafood. She thoroughly enjoyed it , and my mother is very picky and critical. I ordered the scallops carbonara...
We were here for the weekend and were looking for a place to eat. Alot of places were closed because it was Sunday, so we were so happy they were open. The hostess was so kind and sweet! Very friendly, which was a great start. We all ordered different things.. salad, meatballs, pasta, a flatbread and calazones. Everything was delicious, we had no complaints. The wine was good, our server Lucy was awesome and the restaurant inside is very clean and beautiful. We sat outside and the view was gorgeous. When we're in town, we will def be back! Also i was too hungry to snap photos haha
Been going to Sam Joe's for years. Over the years have come across some disappointments. Prices hiked up but pizza still the same size. Closed to often,most of the time I call they are closed. Very disappointed that they were closed New Years Eve...my family has been getting their pizza EVERY new years...first year in my 47 yrs of life that we have not had their pizza for new years. They need to open more and stop closing.
I've been eating at Sam Joes for years literally. Although my husband and I don't eat in the actual restaurant, the to go service we use is absolutely wonderul. We share a cheese pizza and potato skins between us. Every single time it is exactly the same and that's a good thing. Consistency is key here. When my husband picks up our order the staff are polite, kind and courteous to him. Will be eating here again and again.
I returned for a visit after living in Danvers for 2.5 years, and I still absolutely love their chicken piccata! The sister bartenders are always quick and efficient, making it a cozy, family-owned place that I adore. I’m so glad we came back. Today, they managed to serve 70 customers without any reservations, and they handled it all seamlessly. We're just finishing our wine now. Until next time!
I’m 66 years old, and this restaurant holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I grew up. The pizza used to be outstanding! However, after I moved away, it wasn’t as easy to visit. I returned about a month ago and was impressed by the beautiful renovations. Unfortunately, the pizza now leaves much to be desired. Why change a winning formula?
Love the food here. Excellent choice for a fine dine. Saturday night hostess's were very welcoming. My waitress was wicked lovely. Blonde hosstess is very sweet. The other hostess with black hair is very kind. Love the boss. Been going here for years. Family owned. Very nice dinning room and bar.
My parents used to take me here all the time as a kid growing up in the 1970's it used to be consistently excellent, but no more. I haven't been here in a long while but recently I ordered a pizza. It was so greasy you would have thought it was a joke. It wasn't good, won't be going back...
Outstanding food! The staff is wonderful! The pizza is fantastic! With fresh salads and homemade dough and sauce, this place is truly amazing. Thank you! The ambiance is great too! They're open five days a week!
