sammy g’s is our favorite restaurant in high point! eating and service is always excellent. dema is particularly good as a bartender/waxsin. we usually eat there for a late lunch that makes it quieter. it can be loud at night. I love laughs and this is all I have, but the pages vary. I've never been disappointed. my man has tried many different articles and was always satisfied. I am always hesitant to recommend location because people have different tastes and expectations, but sammy g’s is a restaurant that I do not fear to recommend!
Excellent food and wonderful service! Our waitress was awesome; was attentive and very pleasant!The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to put out fans on the patio. It was a very warm night, and I know we chose to sit outside for a more quiet experience, but it would've been sooo much more comfortable to have a cool breeze.I'm sure more people would love the patio experience on a summer afternoon evening if there were fans.Other than that issue, great place to eat some great food!
good location, friendly people good prices, delicious food. the restaurant is located in north high point, concentrated on American cuisine, but also on seafood. good value and reasonable. very friendly staff and its excellent customer service. we had steak and cheese and the sammy g (fried pork plate). eating is delicious and served on time. this is a good place to gather with friends or casual dinner. we're coming back.
The food was excellently prepared. The fried calamari and French fries were not greasy at all! The prices were great for such high-quality dishes. Our server, Hootie, was very attentive and quick. We tried Sammy G's over the weekend and we're very impressed! The food was delicious and the service spectacular! The fried chicken brest was very juicy and tender. The cream corn was so very good. I could have made a meal off that alone! If it doesn't come with your meal make it an added side. We will be back again!
I decided to take a chance on a new restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't pay off. I give it two stars for the service. The bar staff was very friendly and answered all my questions about the menu.
Wife and I decided to step in for an early dinner. the service was good and the food was great, I had the fried flounder and garnel. it needed a little more season, but unlike that was great.
