My favorite place to get affordable, delicious Indian food in Astoria! My friend and I first went there to eat about a month and half ago, and I've been ordering there ever since. I love that they have other Samossa options since I love samossa but usually avoid eating them because I often have reactions to nightshades like potatoes. My favorite is the Palak paneer samosa. The pizza is really good though I do wish it had more paneer. The 34. Navratan Korma is great, not many places I go to add paneer to it so I greatly appreciate this. Their mango 109. Lassi is delicious as well sweet and creamy/thick just the way it should be. Vegetable pakora is very good and also their gobi Manchurian is...
Everything we ordered was amazing . From the papadam to the cheese naan. From the chicken saag to the curry chicken. They made everything perfectly as required in regard to spice level too. Service was kind and friendly. The guy remembered us from a previous visit which made I feel very welcomed. Only one thing to change would be allow small portion of black daal since I love having it as a side and not main. Prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch. Highly recommend .
Best. Indian. Food!! Have been looking for a good Indian spot in Astoria and was left extremely disappointed every single time until this spot. This place is so so good and I'm so glad I found them. What a hidden gem, so flavourful and actually spicy. Ive tried the Chilli Lamb, Daal Tadka, samosas and mango lassi so far and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to try all the rest of the menu!!
The food was fine but it might be a better idea to dine in. Even considering the bad weather, delivery in two hours without a notice put me in uncertainty and eventually made me order from another place and it just arrived when the other delivery came so I had too much food in the end : The Naan was delivered cold but I liked that the chai tea was still warm and tasted good. Everything was delicious! The 37. Paneer Tikka Masala was one of the best I've ever had, and the 103. Mango Chutney and 1. Samossa were perfect! Portions are smaller than other places, but it's still definitely worth the price as the taste is phenomenal.
Samosa chat was good, but the slice katti roll was sweet.. instead of savory and indian it tastes almost a bit sweet and from another kitchen not sure what sauce it was in her or maybe it was the pickles.
The 61. Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing and the 1. Samossa was also very flavorful and crispy. One of the best Indian meals I've had in a long time!
I got the 63. Butter Chicken the 47. Garlic Naan and the 1. Samossa and they are all absolutely delicious! I will absolutely be ordering again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
