It was my birthday on December 3rd and I wanted to introduce my meat eating friends to some top vegan grub. However we could all only make afternoon lunch due to children duties. Samphire do not open at lunch time but they did especially for my birthday. I have never been their previously but had heard good things. They didnt disappoint ANYONE : everyone loved their food and even said after they would try to eat more plant based foods now they have tasted how good it was. The Saver meal???? Very disappointing. Tiny amount of chips, hardly any salad, small burger, patty was ok, but not for £7 This was the first time I’d used you, and unfortunately I won’t be back. Samphire I’m sure you are aware that the McPlant burger has just been released, for the cost of your burger, one could buy 2 McPlant chips. You’ve got to up your game or you will be left behind, people go with cost, they’re not loyal. I was really looking forward to the Samphire experience, but was let down. wished I’d just gone to Maccas.
We placed an order for takeout on Saturday night and the food was ready right on time. I can't stop thinking about the McFib sandwich, tiramisu, mac and cheese, and garlic mushroom fries. It's all I can think about and I can barely concentrate on anything else. My husband keeps asking when we can go back, even though he's not vegan. I've been recommending this place to everyone I know. We will definitely be returning to dine in so we can try more of the menu. Thank you for the amazing food!

We arrived in Plymouth later than planned and, as vegetarians, were in search of a place to eat. With plenty of experience with vegan food, we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were thrilled that we did. The food was of outstanding quality, although I could have used some fries, the portions were so generous that I was glad I stuck with just the burger. The staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
I’ve eaten here twice now and the food is fabulous. I can eat vegan and gluten-free at the same time which is rare to find somewhere that caters to these dietary requirements. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful on this matter also. You’re not rushed to order. They also make the best gluten-free vegan brownie that I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a go.
Great vegan food, I ordered the duck burger and upgraded to dirty fries with caramelised onion and burger sauce. The food was delicious and these really know what they are doing when it comes to vegan cuisine. The service was friendly and attentive. Recommend for the seasoned vegan or for someone who wants to try vegan food.
Welcomed eight of us on a late booking and made us feel very welcome. The waitress was so knowledeable and very helpful. The food was hot, fresh and really tasty. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend it .

My non-vegan friends absolutely adore Samphire. Even my boyfriend, who usually eats a lot of meat, really enjoys it too!
The opening times have been updated. They are now Tuesday to Saturday 5 to 9 pm. There is no lunch time sessions.
