Today, I managed to arrive in time for the vegetarian special: curried cauliflower and pumpkin rice. I ordered a medium sized meal and it included 2 pieces of plantain and coleslaw. I also ordered a chickpea and lentil patty but I haven't eaten it yet. This meal was absolutely delicious; served piping hot with a little kick from the pepper, this entree needs to be a main staple on their menu. I'm always in search for healthy options and this meal was more than satisfying. The medium size entree left me with enough food for dinner and I was so full that I couldn't eat the patty. Hats off to the chef!!! Please add more vegan options to your menu on a daily basis because I'm sure they'll be gre...
10 10 best oxtail i have ever tried, and ive tried many ox tails from Flatbush, Brooklyn Jamaica, Queens and this is by far the best.The scotch bonnet pieces in the gravy really make the dish aromatic and flavorful. The sweet savory notes in the gravy really shine through with each bite. Will definitely be back for another serving.The roti is also flaky and harty. Great experience!
The cook here is excellent at every single dish. You just cannot go wrong with anything you choose. Sam's akso carry a very large variety of Jamaican products at very reasonable prices. The employees are great too.
The Escovitch was delicious. the rice and the fertiles come from the kist, why the people asked for white rice, ochsen tails were overdue and muddy. Patty was nice. mild bark
They won't tell me when I call that they've got a lot of Scotch Bonus hits on them and don't have them when I get right after the call. lack of yellowing
Food was just ok. Husband and I order here for breakfast some days. The ackee and dumplings are good but the female server is very rude and impatient.
