Although the food at this restaurant is passable, the lack of quality customer service and overpriced menu are unacceptable. I've supported a few times because there are only a handful of caribbean restaurants in the area, but I was done when they charged me extra for gravy. The staff in the food service area in the back are always dry and uninviting. I try to support the business, but the poor customer service and overpriced food is a turn off.
We're back with another review, and this place is a hidden gem. It offers a variety of services, from life insurance to a grocery store, and also serves hot food. We decided to focus on the hot food options. The chili salmon and peas and rice were amazing, as were the patties and oxtail. Everything was delicious, making this a must-try spot for fans of Caribbean cuisine.
Love this place but it is really inconsistent.. when I pick up my food, for the same price I get a side of cabbage, couple slices of bananas and any sauce to go with my chicken jerk meal..when you order grub hub, all of that is forgotten! I ordered 2 large jerk : I got with rice, lil cabbage and no sauce at all.. dry dry... $38 total... Food is good otherwise....
