came in sams, when I was not able to book on my business trips before. was a few years ago in sam on the beach, which was exceptional. sam is in the city (which I hope you can see in my picture) that you think they are a (in thinner words) Motley crew of mavericks from all over the country. the service was very attentive and friendly. in any case the happiness I gave them. that was okay. I personally think if they look a massive picture of a bang of chefs with flax around like pirate her eating should represent this picture. was just a little safe for me. that was very nice to eat, but I especially want this picture language.
Been twice now and to be fair both times the food was decent. Service however needs some serious work FOH. No check backs. Had to get my own napkins from other tables. No 2nd and 3rd drinks offered. This has happened on both occasions. The actual people are at least nice just need a refresher on hospitality excellence probably. Shouldn’t have to get up to pay when it’s so quiet ect. Don’t usually write reviews but since it’s been the same twice thought I would as I’m pretty sure this place could be great. Don’t want anyone to get in trouble and please just take this as feedback.
We had an early table at 18.30, so benefited from Sams being quiet, so our greeting and initial service was excellent. It did fill up soon after, then the staff were more stretched and not so attentive. The food was excellent, not rushed as sometimes happens with early bookings. We really enjoyed our evening in this busy little place, a good vibe and really good meals.
Good came very quick and was very nice but we were ignored after an hour someone came and c cleared our table but we weren’t offered a dearer or if we needed anything else ! Had to ask there times for the bill which was annoying as there were 6 members of staff out front and chatting behind the bar !

Nothing special about the food, the waitresses were friendly. The salad on the plate was gritty, the chicken burger was dry and the chips had salt on them. (High blood pressure, so could do without the added salt, especially as there was salt and pepper available on the table).
Delicious food, attentive, efficient friendly staff, we’ll definitely be back! I had belly pork with black pudding, one of the nicest meals out I’ve had in ages
With a great welcome by friendly staff in a dog friendly restaurant. Fantastic food. Excellent service. We will definitely be back. 10/10
amazing eating and cheap, although drinks are a little expensive. personal and atmosphere are excellent
