almost every court I had was disappointing. the bruschetta was badly seasoned, the tasting of only cut tomato on dry brot with old rocket. there were visible crimsons, but she didn't have a taste. the lobster in the avocado bernardo was dry and boring and the seasonal. could have benefited from a generous addition of sumac. it was just a well-presented Prawn cocktail that was too big for a starter. the 5 grilled fish specialties were 4 dry overcooked servings of super market fish cuts and a good grilled garnel that had been touched (formerly by seasoning). who on earth serves tuna steak well done?! at least I would have paired it with a dry white wine. the desert was good, well presented. the meal was nice, but I had pointed out 2 pfirsiche RAW-Veal on my teller, which I politely pointed to the appropriate herrn that I took as manager. he apologised and said he would go and tell the cook right away. he came back and said he sent his apologies. I would have accepted this, but we could see the manager, and he went to the front of the restaurant nowhere near the chefs, and came directly to us, he was clearly lying, very unprofessional and insulting!

The portions are all out of whack. Some too large some too small. We asked the waitress to order additional sides for a meal that was tiny and never saw her again. One diner found plastic in their food. Water was offered then charged for...without saying it wasn’t tap water. Dessert menu was very samey. £30 for a steak on its own with no accompaniments. Food was over cooked and burnt on to the dish.
Lovely restaurant with a quality traditional service, good fresh food and nice atmosphere. Special mention to Amber and Pedro who gave a wonderful service, Amber working hard but always there when needed and Pedro with a great personality and relaxed approach- well done and thank...you. Amazing restaurant our favourite in Leicester. Food is very good with wide range of fresh fish specials. While not always the friendliest of places they've always been v accomodating even when we've turned up with two babies though no children's menu not a family venue).

Our favourite restaurant in Leicester. Pasta and steaks superb. Great service from Sergio and Pablo as usual. Trying to work my way through the menu, but still stick to my regular favourites. Return visit this Saturday. Cannot wait
