Domenico, Alberto, Feliz, and Maurizio—each of whom brought a true Italian spirit—created a welcoming environment that felt like dining in the heart of Italy. Offering superb food and excellent service, this is my wife 's and my favorite restaurant in NYC. The menu offers some unusual, but fantastic choices, like tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. Rhe truffle dishes, which are the restaurant 's specialty, are to die for, especially the risotto di parmigiano with shaved truffles! This is not a cheap venue to dine, but it is worth every penny. We make a point of eating here whenever we 're in the city, even though the total cost includes Ubers from and to our midtown east apartment.
Would have been five stars across the board. Hostess teased us, brought us to a beautiful table, outside. Perfect night. Then…. Said “sorry, can’t give you that table.” Escorted us inside to a tiny 2 top. Back in the deepest part of the restaurant. Disappointed. Parties on both sides were loud. :

Authentic cousine from Piemonte region (one of my favourite italian regional cousine! . Great service and cozy atmosphere. Much better then a classical italian in the city!
Definitely a neighborhood gem. Room is lovely, food is excellent and affordable. The waitstaff was super. There is a lunch deal which we took advantage of.
