San Felipe is a visually appealing restaurant with beautiful colorful art inside, a clean atmosphere, and a nice ambiance. However, the food leaves much to be desired. My daughter and I ordered the California burrito and some wings, while my mom had a meat and rice dish. The burrito was small, the meat lacked flavor, and the cheese was disappointing. There was a lack of traditional toppings like guacamole and onions. The only redeeming dishes were the chicken wings, chips and salsa, and the beer. San Felipe is a beautiful restaurant inside, beautiful colorful art, clean and a nice atmosphere but the food is not very good. Me and my daughter had the California burrito, some wings and my mom had a meat and rice dish. The burrito was too small, the meat in all of our dishes was tasteless and the cheese was horrible like it was not even Mexican cheese, there was no guacamole, onions or anything. The only thing that was good was the chicken wings, chips and salsa and the beer. It seems they are catering to old southern white palates. Service mediocre at best. Nothing authentic about the chips or salsa. Shredded beef was excellent, but the rice was cold and flavorless. Burrito Arracherra was served cold -and more wrap than burrito. Margarita left MUCH to be desired. Shocked the place has customers. I won't be one again!
We went last night and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. We go on a weekly basis. Service is always great and the food quality is always great. The staff are friendly and very helpful, if you are looking for a clean and good place to eat... go here.

The food and service at this restaurant are awful, do not go there. El Pueblito is the best I have ever experienced, I go there every day and never get tired of it. It is nothing like the other place.
We have been dining at this restaurant twice a week for several months and have always received delicious food at an affordable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
