San Marcos in Chatham VA, is a pretty good place to get mexican food. My son really likes their Chimichanga 's, so I treated him to lunch today while in the area. Their salsa is pretty standard fare, it is tasty and fairly mild. It is a puree with no veggies. I do like the fact that each person gets their own small bowl of salsa, no dealing with double dippers here. They do offer a lunch menu, which I ordered off of, I chose the 1/2 Chimi plate that comes with one chimichanga filled with chicken or hamburger, and your choice of rice or beans. The food here is truly authentic, with delicious sauces and flavors. I can't wait to come back soon—tonight is karaoke night and the music is fantastic! Our waiter, Miguel, was incredibly helpful in recommending a dish that wasn't even on the menu. Absolutely the best!
Love San Marcos!! Has been a favorite stop on our way to Smith Mountain Lake for years! The food is consistently excellent, the service is great, the atmosphere is cute and the beer is always cold ; If you want delicious Mexican food you won't go wrong!

Been all over the Country and was amazed to find one of the best Mexican restaurants near Chatham, VA on US-29 in a small place called Tight Squeeze! Every time I visit I have to go!! Best food, best service!! Stop it!! Love this place!!
Ordered tbone steak with shrimp! Big, tender and delicious! Cannot, say anything bad about the dining experience! Never had a steak at a Mexican restaurant, I will be back!Was hard to leave, I was to full!
Hit this on the ride up to DC, and that burrito fundito blew my socks off!!! Great spicy salsa too (if you ask! , kids menu was great, this was a great spot for a quick lunch up the road!!
