Barcelo Santiago deserves 5 stars! The snow white building of the hotel is located near the majestic cliffs of Los Gigantes. The scenery is fabulous and the sunsets here are fantastic! I could just sit for an hour and drink coffee, enjoy the Atlantic Ocean from the terrace of the restaurant! It is very important that next to the hotel there is a dialysis center where people with kidney failure can undergo treatment. My boyfriend and I stayed here in July and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The food was outstanding. I'm vegetarian, my boyfriend is not and not once did I struggle for options regarding the food. Let's talk about the view. The view from this hotel was like no other. Very friendly staff, beautiful room with a view and the food was quality. The pools were beautiful. There is only one thing I was disappointed with and that was the fact that they wanted to charge to use the 4 post sun beds on the roof. That's my only qualm and even at that it was fine. We just didn't use them.

Just back from a week's H/B at this hotel and can not praise the hotel more the staff high enough. This is a beautiful and spotlessly clean hotel. Everywhere is so relaxing and calming, with great food and drinks. The drinks cost the same or less than many of the nearby bars. The rooms are very Spanish feeling, modern, minimalistic but comfortable. Would sefinately stay here again! Brilliant week away relaxing. The only thing that's not great is the evening entertainment and if I'm honest I don't think it's needed. The hotel and bars plus the bars in the town have enough to offer.

the hotel is on a spectacular site, the views are amazing and very well maintained. pools are also a wonder and food. the only one but I put on it is that the buffet drink goes next to it, and if you ask for large water oted you get water from the filtered tap (which even if you are not used to knowing bad) and collect it. Therefore, I recommend asking for small waters to be bottled.
You can't have better staff, all super friendly and helpful. They put some details in the room and the room with unbeatable views. putting a little tail, I would say that one day of buffet for another has very few changes, it is usually the same meals and varies very little. But I'll definitely go again.
