Sanchez Mexican Food is THE MOST authentic tasting Mexican food in Saint George. For what you pay, you get a giant portion, and a great experience inside a clean, and welcoming restaurant. The service was above what you’d expect from a small shop, and the food was so amazing. The beans are so fresh, and delicious! From burritos, to empanadas, Sanchez Mexican restaurant has everything you’d want to eat. They have an assortment of drinks to choose from to compliment your meal as well. The Chile relleno had the meltiest cheese, and was perfectly fried, and sauced. The Al Pastor was incredible, I dare say the best in town. Probably the best within 69 miles radius. And they make fresh corn tortil...
We arrived ravenous in mid afternoon after a 3.5 hour mountain bike ride at the nearby Santa Clara River Reserve. The first clue we were in the right place was a smattering of Mexican dudes clearly enjoying their meals. Very warm and friendly greeting from the owner, and the food was ready faster than it took us to decide what to order. The chicken enchiladas and fajitas were, simply, delectable. Our attempts to eat mindfully and enjoy every bite were countered by our hunger and how delicious it was. Go hungry, depart satisfied. Enjoy.
This is likely the most authentic Mexican food in southern Utah. The al pastor is outstanding! The food is excellent, and the service is great too! The portion sizes are generous, and the dishes are packed with flavor, so you won't leave feeling hungry. One thing that truly impressed me was the horchata—it’s a homemade sweet rice and cinnamon drink, and it’s incredibly delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the mood for real Mexican cuisine, this is definitely the spot to visit.
I loved this joint... I visited St. George from Santa Barbara, where we have some pretty good Mexican food, and this place is legit. Good portions, great flavor, home-made from scratch cuisine. "This is the best taco shop in St. George! The place features a fantastic and very clean taco bar with a variety of taco sauces, salsas, spicy carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro, among other toppings. The food is always hot and fresh, and the restaurant is spotless. The staff who run it are wonderful as well. Overall, it's a fantastic experience!"
Great food. Excellent value. We keep coming back. If you are the type of person who likes authentic, delish food in a genuine environment, you may not want to come here cause you’ll find yourself driving across town to pickup one of their burritos! We’re hooked. We appreciate the work the staff here does to keep putting out excellent food.
fantastic mini-tacos! when my order lasted a little longer than expected, they gave me free chips and salsa snack! the great customer service here will hold me back! boggles understood that someone would ever go to taco bell next door, is so delicious!
