a table for Friday night purely booked because it was close to our accommodation and ordered fish and chips because, why not, it was Friday! I can honestly say that was probably the best fish and chips I ever had (I am in my 50s.) we loved it so much and wanted to try some real ales that we booked for Sunday dinner. we were equally impressed. it is a small menu, but everything was well done. highly recommended.
Dined with friends on a Saturday evening. Went for the excellent choice of beer, but the food was good too. Solid variety to choose from across starters and mains. The service was attentive and professional. There was a musician playing acoustic tracks all evening and ended up with loads of people singing and having a dance, which was great fun.
Lovely ambience, friendly staff, lots of choice behind the bar. We all had roasts. Presented beautifully. Server very efficient and helpful. I particularly liked the look of the rustic style skin on roast carrot and parsnip but the parsnip was under cooked for me. Nice desserts and coffee. We have been before and will return !
This restaurant has the best beer in town, delicious food, and friendly and efficient staff. Whether we are just stopping for a quick beer or lingering over a meal with friends, the SAH restaurant always exceeds our expectations. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The menu was not the same as what was shown online or during our last visit. However, the food we ordered was decent. The restaurant had a wonderful variety of ales to choose from which was a definite plus!
This is such a good place on so many levels interesting and good value food, an excellent selection of drinks and exceptionally friendly and helpful service.
The staff at this restaurant are fantastic and friendly, and the food is both amazing and a great value.
