We decided to go for lunch one day, and then a week later we came back for dinner because it was just that good! Both times, I ordered the shrimp enchiladas, or "enchiladas de camarón." I don't come across this dish often at Mexican restaurants in the area, and I absolutely adore it. There’s so much shrimp in every bite! The tomato, sour cream, and cheese are perfectly balanced—not too heavy—and they complement the green sauce wonderfully. I usually end up so full that I can’t even finish the rice and beans. It’s seriously delicious! Our waiter on both occasions was a nice young man—quiet but incredibly efficient. He checked in on us regularly, kept our drinks filled, and offered excellent...
The Mexican food here is excellent! A friend who lives nearby recommended this place, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The interior was clean and inviting, and the service was quick with our food arriving promptly. The carne asada definitely lives up to its reputation; it was incredibly delicious. I have a couple of minor critiques—the guacamole that accompanied my carne asada was quite small and seemed a bit brown, which made me wonder if it had been overlooked. Also, I wasn't a big fan of the chips and tortillas served with the meal. Overall, however, I was very pleased with our experience at Santa Fe Grill!
Generous portions, excellent service, and fantastic drinks! I always opt for the Mar Y Tierra, which offers the perfect combination of shrimp and steak. The meats are cooked to perfection every time. However, my ultimate favorite is the tamarind margarita with a tajin rim—it's the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. I highly recommend it! The ceviche here is also quite tasty.
This is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in the southern area! The staff is incredibly friendly, the place is spotless, and the margaritas, tacos, and carne asada are outstanding, among many other delicious offerings! My husband and I frequently went to their Edmonds location and were so happy there is another after moving to Renton! Many places claim to be authentic, but this place truly is. Growing up in southern CA, we live on Mexican food, which is more diffIcult to find up here in WA. Santa Fe has the REAL stuff. Plus, service is great, theyre always so nice!
We have eaten at both the Kirkland and Renton locations, and the food was excellent at each one. The cost is around $20-$30 per person, but with drinks, our total for a group of five came to $196. The portion sizes are generous, so we will definitely be back!
Incredible food! We tried the chopped guacamole, spicy shrimp, and steak fajitas, and everything was absolutely delicious. We even doubled up on the drinks! It's the perfect spot for a girls' night out.
