Came here for lunch on a weekday and they were half full, busier than expected.The karaage was fried very well and texture was spot on crunchy exterior with juicy interior. Also loved how you can just order two pieces. However, the chicken had an odd smell and taste to it that was kind of gamey, not pleasant.The ramen was okay, but the egg was way overcooked for a ramen spot.All in all, fine for an average lunch but don’t expect to be blown away.
Nice table distancing. Friendly waitstaff (only 1 working). Food was tasty. Be prepared, MSG is used, so dry mouth after lunch.Pork cheek meat was fattier than stewed pork belly. If you don't like all that fat, skip the pork cheek.OUTSTANDING: Must try the fried Chicken Karaage. I would go there just for the chicken. Give this place a try. Sister had pork cheek meat noodle bowl and I had the fried soft shell crab noodle dish.
just curious, did this place get a new ownership? is it a Chinese own? Most Chinese (China) people who have Japanese restaurants are not as authentic as the Japanese...(DUH... they are not Japanese) They tend to do their own creation, or write bunch of add ons on the menus, pilling bunch craps on sushi rolls...etc.. (not saying this place has sushi) But, I feel they changed the owner.
Santa Ramen has always been my go-to restaurant for quite some time. Despite the opening of many new ramen spots, this one remains the best in my opinion. The food quality is consistently excellent and the service is top-notch. I am a happy customer. Vegetarian options are available, including a delicious vegetable ramen. Parking is plentiful. First time here, and we tried the pork belly with Tonkotsu soup base and regular pork with Tonkotsu soup. I thought the soup was a bit salty, but it did taste ok. The pork belly was in a large chunk so the meat part was a bit tough. My 12yr old liked the soup. He cleaned it up ?
Every time I order take out they always mess something up. She does not repeat your order to make sure she has it correct when you place it. It's hard to check it when you pickup because everything is tied up in the plastic bags. They always seem to be short-staffed.
This spot has the best pork cheek ramen in the area. The garlic miso is bangin '! This food always brings me back to life. Ramen Noodle Soup, Ramen Noodle Soup, with Sapporo on the side . (Sung like, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side).
The ramen was cooked perfectly, however, the broth had a slight gamey taste to it. I'm not sure why, as I have tried ramen in various Japanese restaurants in Tokyo and none of them had this particular flavor. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is one of the best Ramen spots I've tried. I have visited multiple times and would highly recommend it. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. What's not to love?
