Our waitress Ashley and chef Rocco made our visit to Santangelo’s a memorable experience. Ashley was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food and drink selection. The fried calamari was a great way to start! It was light and tender. The cream of chicken soup was rich and flavorful. Although the star of the night was the lamb. It was seasoned perfectly, melted in my mouth, and enhanced with a yummy mushroom sauce. So, so good I keep thinking about it the next day! My mom’s strip steak and shrimp was cooked to perfection. Went to Santangelos to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We had a reservation and we were seated in a timely manner. Our server was friendly and courteous. She checked on us frequently and was quick in responding to our requests. The food was excellent. I had the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was cooked perfectly—a crisp crust and a moist interior. The red sauce was delicious—the best that I have had a a while. The pasta was cooked perfectly and covered in that delicious red sauce. My girlfriend received a complimentary cannoli because it was her birthday. All in all, we had a very nice time over a very nice meal.
The atmosphere and decor were simple yet tasteful, creating a welcoming environment. Portion sizes were ideal, and the ratio of pasta to protein was just right. Every dish was delicious! Even on a bustling Friday night with a packed parking lot, I was seated in about 10 minutes. I could try to find something to complain about, but it feels more like I'm grasping at straws because, honestly, there's nothing negative to report. We had a fantastic evening, and I definitely look forward to returning!
Just ok. call to ask for a reservation they said no got there and They said 15 minute wait then they said 30 minute wait we sat at the bar then they tried to sit us at the bar and we said no we’re with our mother who is 92 we want dining room Finally sat down. I ordered food for a birthday party and it was fantastic! We had chicken riggies, sausage with peppers and onions, ziti, roasted chicken, and a chef's salad. Everything was delicious!
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Syracuse/Liverpool I always go with the shrimp alafina or however you say it pronounce it etc absolutely delicious!!
Snotty waiter. Very bland food. Not worth the price especially when you're over charged any the waiter tried to play it off as a computer problem.
