Expats, this is our place! Feels like such a find, tucked right into my own barrio. Everything’s in English, and the staff speak to you in English straight away the moment you walk through the door, makes it so easy to swing by on the way home. It’s got that whole artisan thing going on too, the same kind of concept you see popping up in gentrified neighborhoods all over Europe these days, but that’s part of the charm honestly. Great if you’re looking for something familiar and low-key, more “home away from home” than a deep local experience. So nice having this right around the corner
Visite Santo Bakehouse y me gusto. Fui apenas habían abierto y pille productos recién horneados y eso es un plus siempre. Yo me lleve el pain au chocolat, el roll de cardamomo, el coquito, croissant de almendras y la cookie de chocolate. Todo estaba bueno pero a mi sobre todo me gusto mucho el croissant de almendras y el roll de cardamomo. Quizas las piezas son algo mas pequeñas que otros bakes pero esta bien, volvere.
Os descubrí desde Granada y, en cuanto tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Madrid, Santo Bakehouse fue una parada obligatoria. Todo lo que probamos estaba delicioso, con ingredientes de calidad y mucho mimo en cada detalle. Se nota el cuidado que ponéis en cada elaboración. Además, el chico que nos atendió fue muy amable y nos hizo sentir muy bien. Sin duda, ha merecido totalmente la visita. ¡Deseando volver!
La verdad es que vi que esta bakery tenía muy buenas reseñas en Google y me animé a probarla. Me compré un canelé y un pan de cardamomo, y ambos me entusiasmaron tanto que, a los cinco minutos, volví para llevarme más cosas a casa. Todo estaba francamente rico. Si vuelvo a estar por la zona, no lo dudaré: volveré a pasar para comprar algo.

Travel to France a lot makes it hard for me to get excited about pastries....BUT this rivals the best of france. Everything I've tried here has been great. The croissant is light and flaky. The za'atar and sesame is sooo good. The pastries are full of flavor and baked to perfection. I wish i could have this all the time! Worth every bite !
Excellent bread, remarkable pastries and the nicest welcome. I was lucky enough to find this place during a stay of several months in Madrid. If you’re in Malasaña, don’t miss it.
