I regret spending my money at this restaurant for a disappointing breakfast. I paid $13 for two tasteless, dry, and cold plantains, three greasy salami rounds, and two poorly cooked eggs with runny yolks. They did not have the traditional Dominican drinks like morir soñando or a properly made jugo de tamarindo. Additionally, the woman working at the front was extremely disrespectful. After this experience, I will not be returning to this restaurant and would advise others to avoid it as well, based on my own poor experience and previous reviews.
If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal, this restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the area. The food is consistently excellent. I placed an order today and realized I had never left a review, despite having enjoyed their food for the past few years without disappointment. They always have what I'm craving, and the plantains are cooked to perfection every time. The staff at the counter provide top-notch customer service as well.
This place makes my heart sing! My mom first started ordering from this place for me when I was 19 in 2021 on UberEats whenever I was home from college, and they haven’t changed in all these years! So affordable and generous portions, a whole meal for 13.00 dollars (the small stew beef comes with white rice, beans AND soda)! That’s a rarity in this economy. Every time I visit the lady at the front is either not in the mood or just ignores me as if I’m begging or something. I feel like I’m bothering every time I visit. This is one of the best Dominican restaurants in Boston. The portions are generous; I often find that a small order lasts me two days. The food and the warm hospitality truly remind me of my grandmother's cooking. If you haven't dined here yet, you're really missing out on what I consider the number one Dominican restaurant in all of Massachusetts.
I'm frustrated that it took me so long to discover this gem. Many of the restaurants in this area are overpriced and underwhelming, but this one stands out. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an incredible array of mouthwatering aromas. Everything here is fantastic, and I can't wait to come back!

I order a medium plate of mangu, literally 3 small pieces of salami tiny as hell. The sandwich barely had anything. The alcapuria barely no meat. Like never again
