When the food finally came, my annoyance intensified. My daughter's pizza was quite disappointing, but I suppose I shouldn’t have expected much from a Mediterranean restaurant. Even my six-year-old commented, "Even the water tastes bad." My meal was not much better. For the record, I thought the water was fine. The potato chips they served were surprisingly good, but the wrap was a letdown. There were maybe five strips of meat, and while the lettuce and veggies were fresh, there was just way too much of it. To top it off, when we finally received our food, I asked the waiter to place a to-go order. He told me to wait, but after ten minutes of waiting, I gave up. He didn’t come back to check...

With a name like Santorini I expected authentic Greek. Santorini is a Greek island, why use this name if you are not a true Greek restaurant? I don 't get it? It 's some kind of Middle Eastern place, with lavosh bread wraps filled with lettuce being passed as Gyro . Very disappointing! I stopped here to have lunch while I was enjoying the San Carlos Art and Wine Festival today. I should have just got my usual chicken skewer from one of the booths and called it a day. But I decided a gyro sounded nice. I should probably have skipped it. It was so not authentic, it was the flat lavosh bread wrap, filled with lettuce and some meat, I could not taste the tzatziki at all. The chips were ok, but I...

This restaurant seems like a reliable spot for lunch. I've passed by it many times and always planned to give it a try at least once. I finally visited on a Sunday afternoon and ordered one of their wraps. It was decent—not bad, but nothing really stood out about the meal. I also tried their lemon soup, which had a unique flavor, though I probably wouldn't order it again. The potato chips were tasty, but they also had a hint of lemon, as it seemed they drizzle some juice on them before serving. While this wasn't necessarily a bad thing, some of the chips ended up a bit soggy. On the plus side, their wraps are quite large, so if you have a small appetite like I do, half of it can easily be sa...

Santorini features around ten small tables inside and a few outside. The lunch menu includes appetizers, gyros, and plate meals. I tried the lamb kebab ($12.85), which comes with one skewer, basmati saffron rice, Greek salad, tzatziki sauce, and pita. Everything was fresh, but nothing was particularly impressive, except for the sauce. The lamb was tender but lacked flavor and juiciness; one piece had a very faint taste. An additional skewer costs $7, and overall, it wasn't very filling. For takeout, the gyros might offer better value, as they come with chips. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

A nice Greek place (yes, really, Greek, not just Mediterranean) definitely great for a quick lunch or dinner in San Carlos. They have real gyro wraps and healthier salads as well. Also they serve wine and beer, for those needing a drink. Prices are very moderate, we have a lot of food, and the check was under $35 for two, which I have not seen for a very long time at a sit down restaurant in the Bay Area. They also do catering mental note...

I'm a huge fan of this place, and I've been going here for years. Let me break down the why's of why I like this place. 1) homemade potato chips that aren't too salty or oily 2) Gyro meat that's flavorful, tender, and NOT dry 3) Salads that have fresh lettice and good Tzatziki sauce 4) Flavorful saffron rice and good hummus If you stick with the Gyro plate which is what I'm here for, then it's definitely a 4 star experience.

This neighborhood spot has been here for years and likewise, we have had them on rotation at least once a month for a family lunch spot. The food and flavors are solid. My go to is the Chicken Kabob Plate. Plenty of tasty food to satisfy your cravings. My hubby often ops for the wrap plate. The homemade chips are addictive. For those with a love for heat don't forget to ask for their hot sauce!

Home of the freshest, most delicious Mediterranean food. I am in the South Bay but come here as often as I can. Everything I've tried tasted great (all kabobs and kefte), the baba ganoush, hummus and falafel are to die for and with the Mediterranean plateyou can mix different things, can't beat that! Staff is super friendly and the ambience very cozy. A real gem! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
