I went here with my family tonight (my nephew who lives in Sydney and other family). We went for pre drinks before a meal. The first thing we encountered was the pink fairy lights as we walked down the outside hallway to get in. When we got there there was the perfect amount of people to give this place atmosphere but not too many people. I liked the setting here too, it had a very Melbourne vide and according to the bar tender I wasn't the only person who felt this. I told myself I'd come back here one time when I was walking past and saw the pretty pink fairy lights adorning the alleyway entrance. Stuck to it and popped by while waiting for a friend to have dinner in Glebe Out the back it's a courtyard type setting, with quite a number of tables, and greenery around. They seem to be quite vegan friendly which is always something great to see! Very enjoyable. Very simple, subtle affordable meals that came out surprisingly quick. The environment is very comforting and the staff are very polite. First time being here I'm impressed, I had the Lamb salad and it was on point. The coffee could have been abit better, temperature wasn't the best but was acceptable. This place seems aittle secluded and private I like the feel of it. Would come back again.
the feeling and the look of the place is sooo beautiful. so relaxed. came here with friends to lunch / brunch some had the falafel, others got the Mexican huevos rancheros and I had the pumpkin soup. everything had taste, and I liked the fact that everything was produced responsibly. there are also very nice choices for sweetness when they are like me. his ok for a recovery and a hearty eating

Nim's Goods had their launch party here last Friday night. It was an awesome night, and the venue really made it be providing and awesome atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which really made the night. I highly recommend Sappho as a great place to go anytime for a coffee or a drink, but especially as a great venue for that special occasion.
this place is over enchanting and cute! all coffees were delicious together with the food. but the customer service needs some work, as the people who take the job were somewhat rude and had mistakes with our order
Food was very very good Seating could have been better. Very few chair in a cramped area The place seemed a bit dirty. Difficult to find good books
Haven't tried the food, it looks pretty plain jane, but it's such a lovely space to relax and read with a glass of wine. Beautiful in spring

the service could be better, but it's okay. I just ordered a chai hot chocolate, so can't comment, but that chaos was decent.
eating came extremelyley fast, coffee was great and had an amazing mood. loved the chicken salad and was also affordable
