Decided on Teppanyaki as it was close to our hotel and we love the experience. Booking the reservation was easy and we were seated promptly. I expected a little wait as it is hibachi. But I didn’t expect to get only half of the chef’s attention. So the chef cooked the meats at our station and the vegetables at a neighboring station. So, the usual antics and attention I have come to expect from hibachi, just didn’t happen. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, but for spending close to $200 £160), I felt I didn’t quite get my money’s worth. Next time, I will demand full service or I will take my business elsewhere.
I made a reservation for a party of 7 people at this restaurant. We arrived on Thursday night at the scheduled time with 4 teenagers eager to try out this place, which had been highly recommended to us by several friends. We had just arrived from Iceland. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the hostess informed us that there was no table reserved for us and showed no interest in assisting us or rectifying the situation. Eventually, we were able to secure a table for Friday night after repeatedly asking for one. Based on the poor service we received on both nights, we will not be recommending this restaurant to our friends.
Birthday dinner for my wife. Food was good if not a bit overpriced; but teppanyaki is normally on the more expensive side. When we were paying, we noticed that we’d been undercharged for a drink so we told the server. Not even a word of thanks for being honest and they still charged us for the drink. Note that they add 10% service charge automatically.

Went here for my brother's birthday and have been before for a work night out. Absolutely love the show by the Tepenyaki chefs and the atmosphere. The food was so good! Wish we got more steak though. Dessert (ice cream) was a bit basic though, but then so is ice cream generally. Wish I got the cheesecake instead!
We had a wonderful experience at Sapporo. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the chefs' talent was both impressive and entertaining. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The drink prices were also reasonable. We highly recommend stopping by for a fun and satisfying dining experience.
