We went here today while visiting St. Genevieve and walking around town. We found this cute, historic ice cream shop and just had to stop. They had a fair selection of flavors. My daughter got some strawberry which she said was good, her grandpa got chocolate and black cherry (2 flavors) and I got a root beer float. It was good just the right thing on a day like this. I also noticed they had a few other similar things, ones I wasn't familiar with. They did a lot of business. I think just about everyone that walked past stopped in here while we ate our ice cream. Sara's is a Ste. Gen staple. We've been coming here since I was a kid, when we'd visit my grandpa. I'm delighted that it's still here at age 35 so I can enjoy a delicious root beer float and mint dip cooler with my niece. MINT DIP COOLERS are the best!! Service is fantastic and the atmosphere is a fun environment. Very nostalgic soda shop. MUST DO if you're visiting ste. Gen.
Absolutely love their ice cream!!!! They have amazing prices for everything they have. So many options and they are always so kind to everyone!!!!!! I love how original they are and how they can be so nice
The ice cream is so good on a hot day. They have really good choices to pick from I would recommend stopping by there if you have the chance it is a little pricey but it's worth the money
