It is very uncommon for my order to be incorrect, but the one time it happened, it was quickly fixed without any problems. The service for takeout was excellent, with a rating of 5. The meal type was dinner and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. The food was exceptional, receiving a rating of 5, as was the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the mashed potatoes, Peruvian chicken, and dark meat dishes.
Since I first started eating here (on Central Avenue) over ten years ago, the food quality has drastically decreased. The food no longer has the same flavor and the amounts are smaller. The salsa verde was a huge letdown. It was bright green from real jalapeños and hot when it was produced in-house, I think. It tastes like mayonnaise now. I doubt I will place another order.
The best customer service in the DMV area can be found at this restaurant. Two specific female employees stand out in particular - one has blonde dreadlocks and the other is light-skinned and has a slightly masculine demeanor (no offense intended). Every time I visit, they treat me like family. If I had the means, I would eat there every day!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We decided to have lunch after shopping in the area. The restaurant was clean and the staff was quick and friendly. Sardi's NEVER FAILS! I ordered the Phil's lamb chops with garlic brocolli, rice and plantains...OMG .there was an entire party in my mouth. It was well seasoned , cooked just right , healthy and delicious. Vegetarian options: If you want an all vegetable platter without meat, you can absolutely order it that way .
