Small bar in Benest France run well by Neil. He has produced two fantastic Sunday lunches on two consecutive weekends. The first weekend we had traditional roast beef and yorkshire puds with a home made tiramasu to follow. The following weekend we had Tuna steaks,beautiful vegetables followed by a lovely homemade Lychee panacotta. Neil does snacks during the week but if you give him a couple of days notice he will prepare anything you like. We are going back this Sunday and he has promised my wife and I something special. Looking forward to it. So locals support your local bar.
La Charette has been closed since the end of 2017 and, I believe, now For Sale. Prior to that it attracted locals and had many music events, especially during the summer. (photo taken August 2015)
