Very nice hike from Brand past a waterfall mostly in the forest. The hut is something special. It's not folk music, it's blues. First quality homemade bread for breakfast. I ate a lentil dal with potatoes and kimchi. Instead of the usual dishes something completely different. Also delicious without meat. The kimchi was 1a! The sleeping places are super clean and comfortable, just quite narrow. What I missed, especially after a long, sweaty climb, was the shower. They are neither hot nor cold. So people wash themselves in cold water at the sink, and cold here means really cold, really cold. The next day via the Zimbajoch to the Hueter Hut. Yesterday we hiked from Brand to the Sarotla hut. A very nice climb with many great experiences and waterfalls. When we arrived at the top, we were warmly welcomed by the team. I had informed myself beforehand on the homepage and was enthusiastic about the concept. The food was great. I love freshly baked bread and of course I ordered some with butter and salt. It was delicious. My husband ordered the vegan black pudding and loved it. Of course I tried a bit of it too and I have to say it was delicious. An absolute feast for the palate. Wir kennen so gut wie alle Almhütten in Vorarlberg. Wenn es um die Küche geht, kann niemand mit diesen engagierten Wirten mithalten. Das Kochen und Servieren geschieht mit Liebe, alles ist fermentiert, mit Blumen garniert, Brot wird gebacken und Zöpfe geflochten, vegetarische Optionen werden berücksichtigt (Feigenchutney, hausgemachtes Pesto, Hummus ...), regionale Biere usw. werden angeboten. Einfach rundum großartig!!! Ich kann mich auch nicht über die Preise beschweren. Qualität hat ihren Preis auf diesem Niveau! Mein Tipp: Die Blutwurst habe ich noch nie besser gegessen. Danke!

Sehr schöne Hütte. Ambitioniertes und freundliches Personal. Allerdings ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für die Brettljause, bei allem Respekt für die exponierte Lage, so nicht akzeptabel. 20 € für diese Platte mit zwei Scheiben Brot.
A very nice hike that leads past some small waterfalls. As a reward, there was a delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven. A great team and very friendly. The path and the hut are recommended. We'd love to come back.
