We had only a few hours in Messina since we were cruising, but my husband and I often like to check out Michelin recommended restaurants whenever possible. It’s a nice diversion from shore excursions. We were happy to find Sasha fit this for us. They were open for lunch , close to the port, and featured a charming atmosphere. Chef Francisco and his team worked hard to please our palate and our senses. We had the 10 course tasting menu with a few wine parings and it was all beautifully prepared, served, and delicious. Seafood forward and creative. You can order a la cart as well. If you are looking for a memorable place on your Messina stopover, don’t miss Sasha!
Stayed at the nearby Ilunion Alcora hotel and walked twelve/fifteen minutes to this place, which has a very nice relaxing feel to it. Staff are friendly, as well as patient and helpful, and the food is excellent. In fact it was the best food we ate in Seville during our six-day stay. All the Tapas were sizeable, and not too pricey. We ordered four dishes, together with two cold beers, and one mineral water. Our bill came to 42 Euros.
the excellent deal, the waiter who attended us was super nice and advised us fantastic on the dishes to order. all very rich in general, especially recommend the tataki of tuna and the saladilla of the house. the detail of the sausages seemed great and gave them a touch to the dishes very special in terms of taste too. highly recommended
