Alexander - regarding your earlier responce to Susan C - we travelled done distance to have a special night out for a vegan meal. Your staff are friendly and the young lady in the white tee shirt and denim shorts really looked after us but sadly it turns out your menu really does have very little to offer a vegan customer. Your Vegetarian specials all contain butter or cream so they are not Vegan. Vegan means no meat,dairy or eggs. I quite enjoyed the farmers chicken but when the boys ran out of bread to go with the homous or Rillettes de thon and i tried to ask the waitress (In the pink dress) for more I was ignored. Having looked up possibilities for a light lunch on Trip Advisor, we were so pleased to have discovered this french tapas restaurant.The staff were very friendly and there was a very nice ambiance prevailing with enjoyable, varied background music.Five tapas dishes between the three of us were just right. All were very enjoyable. It's obvious that a lot of care goes into choosing good ingredients and cooking fresh each day. We didn't feel our needs as meat eaters were secondary to those of veggies and vegans, although they are very well catered for here. We left feeling satisfied but not overly full. Highly recommend this place for those looking for home made flavours.
Where do I start:-We were a largeish group with all sorts of tastes, intollerances and requrements Host coped amazingly producing a meal that pleased allThe tapas dishes were amazing. After discussing our needs/requiements with the host he said "trust me" with various tapas choices - good decision, flavour sensation!After much wine / food we found the bill to be very reasonable considering our awkward requirements and the fact we are from Yorkshire! The proprietors could not have been more helpful translating the entire menu for us. The dishes are very tasty indeed and surprisingly filling. The duck and pork rib dishes were particularly lovely and my wife enjoyed the lentil humus and the cheese dish as did our daughter. The restaurant is small and popular and so I recommend booking in advance.

A really different type of restaurant to the norm. We sat outside on a lovely summer's evening and had a range of plates of really quirky, tasty and fresh food. Our favourite was a boudin noir dish with apples and mustard, which was a joy. Couldn't recommend more highly for great tastes and low prices
Me and my family had just done a 45km bike ride and in need of a big meal a we sure got that. The got 6 different dishes to share between us and everyone was superb. There were 3 staff working all very welcoming and handled the guests fine overall this meal certainly deserves my 5 star rating
Attracted by recommendations of previous TripAdvisor visitors I decided to go here with my 13&14 years old kids. And we were not disappointed! Well prepared no nonsense French tapas, great local Saumur wines and friendly staff. A place to come back. Tnx!
Food was tasty, fresh and staff generally friendly. But I am a vegan and was disappointed that there were no vegan choices other than to have options with no cheese. Trip advisor suggests this is a vegan friendly but maybe this should be removed.

We shared a lovely glass of wine here, the red was recommended according to our taste and came with complimentary nibbles. Lovely decor. Friendly owners. Very nice atmosphere.
Superb meal. Best pig feet in Europe hands down. Funny and helpful owner. Expect unknown and unique flavors.
