I love Indian food deeply. When I don't have time to make it at home, Sawan is my go-to. They aren't the closest place to me, but worth a drive to dine in or take out. Super fresh, super nice staff, master-class cuisine. Oh, and great prices to boot. If there is any criticism, it's that when you ask for extra-spicy, it doesn't seem to happen. The meal begins with complimentary papads served with three different dipping sauces, ranging from savory to sweet to slightly spicy. The papads are a bit salty, but provide a nice crunchy start to the meal. We ordered the chicken makhani, lamb Rogan Josh, sag paneer, and garlic naan. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The buffet offered a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Excellent value for money! I would give a perfect score of 5 for the food, service, and atmosphere.
