My friend and I loved our little pitstop at Sayra's which is off the beaten path of the boardwalk and amidst other food options on Beach 92. We took a peek on our way to the beach but they were closed. They open at 2 p.m. and we returned a few hours later. Although they're called Sayra's Wine Bar, their awning said Bier Garden. And what a sweet garden it was. On our way back from the beach and before dinner, my friend and I wanted to take advantage of their happy hour specials which runs until 7 p.m. They had beer, wine and cocktail specials but we craved an ice cold Bud Light (canned) for only $3.00. This wine bar by the beach met my expectations perfectly. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy, especially in the backyard with a courtyard vibe. There are about twenty seats inside and even more outside, with a projector screen and small stage in the backyard. They offer around ten wines by the glass, all priced at around $10, and most of the bottles are around $40. They also have two draft taps: Allagash Witte and Kona Big Wave Blonde, both priced at around $8. The bartender was quick and efficient. It's definitely a nice spot to stop for a midday break or after a day at the beach.
Loved the atmosphere until they presented the check at the end. They added an “accidental” charge, not only that, but when we addressed the server about it, they seemed non-chalant as opposed to apologetic. Food is very tasty, pulled pork sliders are extremely delicious and the wine selection is interesting. They added an auto gratuity to only 2 people which comes across as they are hoping for extra tips if you’re not paying close attention. Also there was a “merchant charge” which I’ve never heard of.
I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place. We’ve been coming here for years and recommend it to friends. Today (8/11/23), however, I came in for the bottle of wine and cheese deal and then cheese plate was shrunken to a tiny platter that made it impossible to cut on it. Also, three olives to two people???? Screw whomever made that decision. Still, we will be back.

This restaurant is located in a questionable area, with a mural of what appears to be MLK outside. It's not ideal to have such a large billboard outside when trying to sell a house. The service, drinks, and food were all subpar. Be cautious of your surroundings. I would suggest avoiding this place.
I had a great time sitting outside with wonderful live music. Felt like a nice getaway, almost like I escaped the city and was on a vacation. A more diverse menu would make the place perfect. Or perhaps if they allowed to link with another restaurant nearby to bring in other food also.
Great place but they need to do something to control the mosquito population outside! They're worse than the raccoons lurking behind the fence. I got bit so much in one night there, that I had to leave and it looked like I had chicken pox when I got home that evening.
Duck rillete frech toast and pork hash!!!. it 's worth a trip to the beach even in the winter! Thanks Ra Ra-food jazz and sangria.. oh bottomless? Yes!

What a fantastic find! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The outdoor seating area is beautiful. We will definitely be returning.
I love hanging in the back yard with a cool drink. They also have regular events that are fun to attend.
