Scaddabush undoubtedly impressed with its remarkable culinary offerings. The Spinach Artichoke Dip emerged as a clear highlight, boasting a perfect blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. Our group was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size of the Roasted Mushroom Truffle Gnocchi, which satisfied our appetites to the fullest. Additionally, the Margherita pizza stood out for its freshness and delicate balance of toppings, complemented by a flawlessly soft and airy crust. The service at Scaddabush tends to be hit or miss but it’s a decent spot when it’s good. The music was surprisingly loud for a Sunday night dinner, which made it tough to have a conversation.We ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese (if you like lasagna, I’d recommend this one), Diavola Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Mushroom Truffle Fettuccine. We also added the Garlic Focaccia.The pasta portions were filling. I wish they’d mixed the sauce and pasta a bit better though because my fettuccine was all stuck together when it came to my table. The Garlic Focaccia was also really dry but was good with the house-made chilli oil.
The food is awesome and delicious. One of the best Italian restaurants in the GTA. You can't wrong with it when you've fresh mozzarella, fresh pizza and fresh pasta from the scratch.Mr. Hunter, our server, greeted and suggested the perfect dishes as per our requirements. The best part thing to mention here's that they have Halal chicken.Just one complaint/observation is the portion size is not as good as some other Italian restaurants. I would love if they could increase it at least by one quarter of the existing portions specially for pastas.I would recommend to must go for the fresh mozzarella and delicious pizzas.
Just amazing! First time there, for sure I recommend...The place is very nice, clean... David received us, was very professional and polite.We ordered polenta fries to start, it was sooo delicious.The pasta (spaghetti carbonara) soo delicious and yummy. Taste veery good, but it is a single plate, doesn't serve 2.We also tried pizza (the butcher) it was good.First time and will be back asap!Almost forgot to mention that it was everything fresh and came fast for us! Always a great experience with food and service at Scaddabush. But our recent visit with our server Hunter was absolutely fabulous. He is personable, genuine and very hospitable. My friend and I were out celebrating my recent engagement and he just made us feel so welcome. I can recommend coming here for the food but I also recommend coming for the service. Friendly faces and just all around great experience . Thank you Hunter for making our day out!
Everything was absolutely perfect. The pasta, gelato, spinach dip, coffee, and drinks were amazing! We had Alberto taking care of us and he was great! Super nice, funny, and fast. It was our first time going and everyone was so welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has a nut allergy and Alberto made sure everything that was ordered was safe for him.
A very good restaurant. A little pricey but the food was really good so you get what you pay for. Service was good. It was busier than I expected (more people in the restaurant). That didn't affect service though. I hadn't been there before but I would go again and I would recommend it to others.
I ate so many restaurants for the first time to write reviews, because this experience really made me unforgettable. I've eaten so many well-done steaks, the first time I've had a steak that bitter, I ordered a well-done steak not a burnt steak. My tongue has been bitter for almost two hours. The food and service is good. Their pasta have social size so we can share. We ordered an appetizer, 2 pizzas, and one social size pasta for 4 people. Each of us ordered a cocktail as well. It is more than enough for us.
