Visited Stalinist today ,Friday 14 th October shocking) the food excellent..but…we sat down at 1/4 to 12 , Order finally taken , people arrived after us , served promptly ..I asked why? Waiting COD ok , I accept that) nearly half hour later ,I asked again and the waitress brought our order…mine was wrong..said so,politely, so was told no that’s what you ordered ..DONT think so ,cod bites!!!! So it went back ,my cod WITH PEAS didn’t order peas) was put in front of me and away she went …..asked another lady could she sort it out please I hate peas …came back eventually,by then I just wanted to leave ……awful ,just awful experience…….WHAT REALLY TOOK THE P was when regulars,came in said ,” usual...
Clean, friendly helpful staff. Order taken promptly. Food arrived very quickly. Good portion size for the price paid. Excellent value for money. £6.95 for fish, chips, mushy peas, bread butter and large pot of tea with extra water! In this day and age with the cost of living, absolute bargain! Chips hot and not greasy. Fish tasty, batter crispy and grease free. My husband thought it was one of the best cups of tea he's had in a long time!
Shame as was lovely last time we went to the Greek place but couldn't eat the meat was chewy ! Did tell waitress her comment was oh !Took home for the dog !! Cocktail drink nothing like ! Very disappointed as was for a birthday meal.
Popped in the restaurant to enjoy their fish and chips dinner with tea and bread and butter. Lovely food and service.
