The food here is by far the best Thai food I have had in Perth and its suburbs. It is truly authentic. When I asked the owner if the restaurant might adapt to suit local preferences, the way many Chinese restaurants sadly have done in the suburbs, he replied that he would keep to the authentic taste. In my opinion, the prices are so very reasonable the regulars and true Thai food lovers will keep coming. The locals will hopefully learn to like authentic Thai food. My partner and I lunched there 3 time in two weeks - the food was that good. There were 10 starters priced at $6 and 8 mains priced at $13.50. Firstly the aged man controlling the shop was not from Thailand. He pretended to be a Singaporean before he made a slip of the tongue to be Chinese. Of course no one would worry about that lie - given that he had shown a better temper. It was quite obvious that the aged Chinese guy, who opened this restaurant, was quarreling with his young Thai girlfriend today when I went there for lunch. No one else was there and no one answered the front desk bell from 1 meter away, until I pressed the bell for 7 times. Neither sorry nor explanation from him. Wow - incredible food, great host, unbeatable pricing. Menu has 10 starters and 8 mains to choose from. Starters are all $6. Mains are all $13.50. BYO - no corkage charged. Yes great value $ and the food is exceptional.I had the Kao-Soi ( Egg noodle with coconut curry broth and Chicken). My husband had the Khao-Pad-Kra-Prow-Seafood ( Chilli Basil seafood fried rice) - clean fresh and full of flavour who knew rice could be so interesting. Was on holiday in Perth n surprised to find this wonderful joint in Joondalup area. The owner is a pure Singaporean who took time to explain all the stories of the individual dishes we sampled.His partner is a warm and friendly Thai lady who whipped up all the delicious food for us.Price is very reasonable n good was very good indeed!I will definitely visit them again next year if I visit Perth again! Very impressed with both food and service - Dan is an wonderful host and makes the experience most enjoyable. The food is a delight and the prices very reasonable. Given that so many restaurants in the area tend to be diluted "generic Asian fusion", it is a joy to encounter somewhere that focuses on a limited number of dishes that follow in their family tradition.To paraphrase Molly Meldrum, "Do yourself a favour and check this out!"
Found this place recently by accident, and we certainly weren't disappointed.Have gone back a few times since. Its only a small restaurant but the food is soooo delicious and clearly prepared with love.The gentleman which is owner is delightful and so friendly.The food is very well priced and you have option of sitting inside or out.Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone to give it a try
Have dine here many times now. Food if always so fresh and tasty.Dan the owner is always welcoming and the young female Chef is a true artist with food.The restaurant is pretty small but well set out so booking would be advisable.Top food great prices and must try

Wow thart was good so fresh andca touch of spice. The host was fantastic and his Thai wife the cook. Loved it.
