Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Eines der besten Essen während meiner Reise ... serviert in einem kleinen Lokal mit einer tollen Atmosphäre, nur ein oder zwei Blocks von all dem Trubel entfernt. Der Herr hinter dem Tresen war super freundlich, hilfsbereit (sie sprechen Englisch und haben eine englische Speisekarte) und empfahl das Schweinebraten, das absolut erstaunlich war. Es wurde in einer Box verpackt, um vor Ort zu essen oder mitzunehmen. Das Hopfen-Cider-Bier passte perfekt zu meinem Essen. Ich stimme allen anderen zu. Wenn man diesen Ort nicht aufsucht, verpasst man ein großartiges Essen.
Great, vibrant place, full of energy which comes from passion for good austrian cuisine prepared by young people who know what's best for foodies, which I am as well. It was my number one when I came to Vienna and I don't regret it, it was the best meal I had during my trip. It was indeed served rather uniquely but it's really great if you want to take out the food. I love that the menu is changed weekly, thanks to that there are less options, so it's easier to pick one ; I highly recommend this small, climatic restaurant and as for me I will definitely come back here for more! :
I loved the concept and the food! As a vegetarian, I gave up on trying to find Austrian cuisine other than the standard dishes on the menu of almost any other restaurant with local food. So I highly recommend to come here if you are a group of non-vegetarians and vegetarians... and very week there is a new creative menu. P.S.: The “Topfenschmarrn mit Birnenröster“ as dessert was absolutely amazing!
We had to take a detour to find this little restaurant but it was well worth the trip. I had the box with roasted pork, dumplings, and sauerkraut. It was delicious! Wir waren vorige Woche zum ersten Mal beim Schachtelwirt auf eine Rote Rüben Tarte und einen Schweinsbraten. Beides sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen sind auf jedenfall ausreichend. Freundliches Team, freundliches Lokal, auf jeden Fall zum Weiterempfehlen!
Der Schweinsbraten ist einfach unglaublich gut. Eines der besten Dinge, die ich in Wien gegessen habe. Der Ort ist sehr entspannend, abseits der Touristenmassen, und der Besitzer/Koch/Gastgeber ist super freundlich. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen!
I wish i would have found it earlier. I was amazed abt the project and serving skill they offer. I had an absolute tasty awesome OnionSoup with Croutons. Any other dish is even high recommend too. Great quality and incredible kind staff
