I’m sure this place has very good German food and the aromas from the kitchen were devine. However when we got there we found that almost everything is either cooked in lard and/or has pork in it. Sadly we don’t eat pork or any bi-products of pork. Wewere really disappointed as we really wanted to try the food. The place is very clean, waitstaff friendly and has reallyauthentic German menu. I gave it a 4 for ambience, cleanliness, service, and German authenticity.
We had a fantastic lunch at Schnitzel Platz during Oktoberfest season. They offered an excellent selection of draft beers, and the potato pancakes were a standout. We also tried a large pretzel with beer cheese, which was delicious as well. The German salad paired wonderfully with the bratwurst sandwich. Overall, it was a truly authentic German experience that made us feel like we were back in Germany!
Although the food was really good, our table servicer was not. Had to wave him down to order our food. Then he didn’t bring everything out. After that we saw him chitchatting at the hostess table and standing around. Again had to wave him down for more ice tea he forgot to bring and togo boxes and a check. It took forever. Clearly he did not know how to do his job
The beer was a bit pricey, and the food could have arrived more quickly, but overall, it's a nice restaurant with fairly priced, mostly excellent dishes. I haven't visited Germany, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I had a great time there. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The restaurant offers an excellent selection of schnitzel options, and there was a live band performing on Saturday night. The side dishes are also outstanding.
The food and service were excellent. The live music was enjoyable and had a festive atmosphere, not too loud. Overall, it was a great experience.
The live music at this restaurant enhances the authenticity of the dining experience. The waitstaff is very friendly and well-informed.
