Schum - Tisch reservieren

Somewhat hidden between a Chinese , an Indian and a Thai restaurant this wonderful place is a demonstration of France love for food. So much so, that I almost regret letting the whole world know about it. The owner holds the fort, cooks, waits on you and will even find time to share his love for cooking and recipes with his guests. A menu on a slate with three or four home made appetizers, same number of main courses and deserts. Our table had terrine and beef filet and pollack served with delicious zucchini au gratin. Schum doesn't look very elegant, but the service and the food we received was first class. One very knowledgeable waiter, a small menu, easy to adapt for gluten-free. The food was really very good indeed. Very easygoing, not formal at all.

Excellent low key brasserie in an unassuming location but with delicious food. The salmon rillette burst with flavour and our fish main courses were cooked to perfection. All washed down with a very acceptable house wine. A little gem.

It’s our second time in this restaurant and in both times we have enjoyed the food very much. It’s a simple brasserie but with high quality of food and biers. We intend to return. Also the waiter is very friendly and helpful.

We were staying across the street so decided to pop in just for a drink. The chap was more than happy to make space for us and recommended some really excellent wines. Lovely atmosphere too
