My boyfriend's mom made reservations at this restaurant for us. First off how sweet and kind of her! She had eaten at this restaurant a couple weeks ago and thought that we would enjoy it. We had reservations at 5:30pm. I recommend making a reservation. When we arrived we were immediately greeted. We got to choose where we wanted to sit. Night out for a friends birthday.. Big mistake!! we planned a last minute birthday dinner for a friend could not decide what restaurant to go to finally landed on Scotties . It had good reviews pictures of the food looked good . Made a reservation for 6:30 and I think we got our check at 8:30 we left at almost 9 . The food at this restaurant is still excellent and the atmosphere remains very classy. However, the service has taken a significant downturn. A few years ago, this was one of my husband and my favorite spots. After forgetting about it during the pandemic, we decided to revisit it for Valentine's Day, only to regret our decision. There was only one waiter, who was also serving as the bartender, for the entire restaurant. We waited a half-hour just to place our order and did not receive our check until almost two hours later. I was blown away by the amazing food at this restaurant! I ordered the New York steak with mushrooms and farm fresh vegetables, and it was cooked to perfection. I would give it a 10/10 rating. I started with appetizers, followed by a delicious salad and main course, and finished off with the most incredible crème brûlée I've ever had! The service was also top-notch, with Scotty going above and beyond to make sure our drinks were filled and even making a fantastic lemon drop cocktail. I don't even know where to start! This is without a doubt the top restaurant in Brentwood. The server, Scottie, was incredibly sweet and attentive. The appetizers and dinner were amazing, with everything tasting fresh and delicious. The live pianist added a special touch to the already great ambiance. I had an incredible experience here and will definitely be returning soon. The restaurant is adorable and looks upscale inside. It's very welcoming and I could go on and on - don't hesitate to make your dining experience a fantastic one here!
We had just moved into town and my husband and I wanted to celebrate with our first date night. Glad we picked this place because it was a memorable experience. You'll notice that Scottie put a lot of thought into the place, with decor, live piano playing, and a tasty menu. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a special night out. We had an early dinner so it felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves, then others started to show up and it was a nice lively environment. We'll be back for more!
Amazing service! Amazing food!! We had the pork chop (it is a MONSTER and the lamb. The only thing I will say is that the pork chop takes a long time (owner suggested that we call ahead next time.... It really is 3 thick so definitely takes a while but totally worth it. also, their website prices are at least fifteen dollars cheaper than when we got there. It is FANCY and the prices reflect that. Great experience if You have the money to blow.
I always enjoy coming to Scottie's. We came here with friends on a Saturday night and the place was clean and cozy. Their food is fresh and cooked well. We had the caprese salad, chicken cordon bleu, and steak and a bunch of desserts. Be ready to wait and enjoy the company of friends as their meals are cooked with much care and attention. We came in right when they opened for the night. Luckily we were able to get a table as they were fully booked with reservations. Scottie was excellent and made us feel right at home. All the food was great. My daughter even said her pasta was as good as chocolate which is high praise. We will be back, with a reservation next time.
