We had a lovely cream tea booked and decided to have sandwiches as well as my pregnant sister was very hungry, which were absolutely delicious! The cream tea was 2 scones each with butter, cream and jam which were also ridiculously delicious. In hindsight, we should have skipped the sandwiches ???? The 2 scones would have been enough! The coffee was soooo good and the tea was lovely too. The staff member that served us Glynis was outstanding. She was so warm, friendly, chatty and so super helpful. She kept us topped up with water having just came out the spa and kept our tea and coffee topped up too. Her chat was brilliant, she was so down to earth and so funny. An absolute superstar!
The waiting staff when we arrived were lovely and the spa experience was fantastic. Having dinner at 5.15pm waited for 10mins and no one had came to the table or acknowledged us, I had to ask if we could order drinks, by the time someone then came and we got our drinks it was 25mins later, no apology for the wait. No one checked if our meal was ok which it was and then I had to go up to the bar to ask for the bill as no one had came to our table. Young team of waiting staff that were not as welcoming as the other staff when we arrived. Bit of a disappointing end to a lovely day.
This restaurant was a disappointment. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the overall experience was not great. We paid £34 for a 220 gram sirloin steak that was mediocre in quality and overpriced. The total bill came to £170 for 2 drinks, a bottle of wine, 2 starters, and 2 mains. To put things into perspective, we had a much better meal for significantly less on the shores of Loch Lomond the following day. We will not be returning to this restaurant. The claim of being a Scottish Steakhouse is misleading and significant improvements are needed.
The food and service were good, but the drinks took too long to be served. I don't think the bar tables are romantic enough for couples. I would have preferred to sit farther away from the bar, as there was a loud party near our table with some spills and breaks that were a bit off-putting.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The coffee was also exceptional. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this hidden gem.
Really nice food, bit overpriced. Had prawn cocktail and goats cheese and beetroot ravioli and a glass of wine £42.50. Waitress Megan was friendly and efficient, a real asset to the restaurant.
Excellent service. It wasn’t busy but staff were attentive and friendly but kept appropriate distance in between. Food fabulous at the end of a long day and pleasant decor ambiance
The food was not worth the price in my opinion. I have enjoyed better afternoon teas at other places for a lower cost. The service was good though, with pleasant staff.
