We had a wonderful lunch on a sunny fall Saturday at this popular restaurant. Despite the long wait, we relished our meal outdoors in the sunshine. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I couldn't indulge in the baked goods, but the Chipotle Sweet Potato Salad with added chicken was exceptional. The Parmesan dressing was delightful, and we even went back for more. The cappuccino was top-notch as well. My friend tried the Waldorf salad and Masala Chai steeped tea, both of which were delicious. The quality of the ingredients was impressive, clearly indicating that everything is made from scratch. The prices were quite reasonable too—our meals and drinks came to under $30, including tip.
As a chef, I don't often enjoy eating out, as I prefer to prepare my own meals to meet my standards. However, this restaurant truly surpassed my expectations and was absolutely delightful! We sampled the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, which were fantastic. The seeded roll provided a great texture, and the aged cheddar was a wonderful addition. While the cowboy bar was a tad too sweet for my liking, I still found it enjoyable in moderation. The mocha coffee was outstanding—so much so that we ordered a second cup. Overall, it was definitely worth the drive for me.
Great coffee, baked goods, and an amazing staff! My wife and I go here every chance we get, which is anytime we have to be out the house early. Because what better way to start your day, than with a great cup of Joe, and some amazing baked goodies! In my honest opinion, simple is sweet here. They have a huge variety of things to order from, but I personally always keep it simple with an ice coffee (lite and sweet), and one of their shortbreads, which they sell everyday I believe except Sunday. I
The restaurant serves high-quality products, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a delicious bagel that rivals those found in New York. However, my main complaint is the long wait times for both online and in-person orders. I placed a breakfast order at 8 am on a Saturday and didn’t get to pick it up until 9:45. In-person orders can also take 30 to 45 minutes to be ready. I hope they can improve their wait times in the future.

Scratch Baking is a fantastic place for lunch, baked treats, and coffee! I’ll definitely be back to try more, but everything I had today was outstanding. I enjoyed the apple spinach salad with candied walnuts, seasoned croutons, fontina, and white balsamic vinaigrette, a churro cupcake, and an iced coffee. The service was also great. They currently offer limited outdoor seating, which is perfect in this lovely weather.
Scratch Baking is the best bakery I have ever been to. Form savory to sweet. From breakfast to lunch. They have it all! The employees are so kind and helpful (special shout-out to MaryBeth, Bridget Evan). The online ordering is efficient easy to use. Everything is made from literal scratch and made to order, which means the wait is definitely worth it. If you haven’t tried Scratch Baking yet, it’s a must!
Ate there with my partner today, the sandwich was so good, every bite consistent and flavorful, great to share! Staff was so friendly and welcoming, gave us crisp refreshing water with our order as well as an extra surprise in our bag. Truthfully proud to support this small business, will be going back to try more of their food!
Scratch Baking is an excellent bakery in town, offering fresh cookies and pastries. While we didn't try the coffee or sandwiches, the cookies deserved a perfect 10/10. Quite possibly the best sugar cookie I've ever tasted. I’ll definitely be returning!

Wow, this place has high quality sweets and savory items such as egg sandwiches, quiches, croissants, muffins, bread, breakfast pizza, and more. My favorite drink is their Mocha, made with chocolate ganache. Highly recommended!
The egg and cheese is simple but perfectly assembled . This is a classier version of the breakfast sandwich. Their baked good are so good and it feels like food made with love. Iced coffee was good too.
