Located on Hilton Head Island, just outside of Palmetto Dunes in the former Charlie's location, Sea Grass Grille is the brainchild of Chef Chad Newman. Formerly the head chef at Charlie's, Newman took over the space after Charlie relocated and transformed it into a cozy and elegant dining destination. Sea Grass Grille seamlessly combines the sophistication of French cuisine with the comfort of low country fare, offering fresh and inventive dishes. Menu highlights include a delicious crab and potato pancake, a hearty tomato and basil pie, and a memorable she-crab soup. With its warm and laid-back atmosphere, Sea Grass Grille has become a popular spot for both locals and frequent visitors.
One of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. The service and atmosphere were warm and inviting. The meal was plated beautifully and was equally as flavorful. I have food allergies and they were very accommodating and not judgmental. Staff was knowledgeable of what could be made Gluten Free and Dairy Free. I recommend the duck and finishing with the mango sorbet.
Absolutely outstanding. The Seagrass Grill is on the higher price end but well worth it. Seafood, soups and salads are prepared to perfection (note:and they also serve non seafood entrees). The waitstaff is attentive and efficient but not stuffy. Loved the atmosphere. Everyone at our table raved about their food. Try the daily specials you can't go wrong.

Delicious seafood local restaurant! Our family of 4 drove our bikes from our Palmetto Dunes home. Our server was nice and friendly. Our guys had a delicious Alfredo Pasta while we feed on seafood.
This restaurant was excellent. It is a family-owned business. Our family loved everything we ordered, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

She crab soup was very good, bread exceptional. Salmon overcooked, veal needed spices. Nice place and service very attentive.
