Not a big fan of this restaurant. I have only ordered from this place once and it was enough to let me know that I don't want to return. They were out of perch so I ordered a whiting fillet plate with fried oysters. The fish was very thin and the oysters were very small for my liking. The plate also came with coleslaw which I didn't care for and fries which were not cooked to my liking. The price of the plate was around 14-15 dollars and overall I did not like the food.
In response to your previous comment stating that "we don't use spray near food," it still indicates that you do use the spray, which raises concerns about the presence of roaches. I'm glad I came across that comment, as I have eaten here before and now I'm feeling quite sick to my stomach.
I haven't been to this place in years. Now I remember why. The fried shrimp tasted like cardboard! Absolutely no seasoning and completely over cooked. I was so disappointed because I really wanted a local establishment that had good fried shrimp...pitty.
The food was incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced! I ordered the flounder lunch, which was more than enough to satisfy my hunger (and I have a big appetite). I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had the jumbo shrimp and they were fried perfectly. Fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly as well. I will be back. Nice friendly staff at the Shanty. Can't wait to try the scallops next.
I stopped by to order a fish dinner and noticed two cans of Roach Spray on the counter near the food. I asked for a refund and left. I won’t be returning to this place. No thanks.
Fast, fresh and delicious. I would recommend to people that enjoy seafood. Only drawback is there is no dine-in
