What a fantastic chip shop, staff great, very clean shop and food wow lovely bit of cod and chips not greasy at all went down a treat...would certainly recommend this chip shop for food any day... shame I don't live 100 miles east it would be my go to for fish and chips. Parking: Park in the coop carpark and walk back the way you drove in and chip shop directly opposite entrance. I would recommend ordering online to avoid potential wait times at this restaurant. The quality of the food here is much better than what you'll find in nearby Aldeburgh. The last time I dined here with friends from America, we had to leave most of the fish as it was filled with bones. Although the menu did mention that there 'may be bones,' we were still surprised by the amount we encountered. I've had fewer bones in kippers! I suggest trying both for yourself and forming your own opinion.
This chip shop should win a global award. The chips are the best I have ever tried and the freshest line caught fish is second to none. The batter is so good I even eat the skin,and we don't normally do that do we. The best by a country mile, don't que in Aldeburgh for OK fish and chips go to seahawks. order via the website with click n collect on Saturday night. what a brilliant service, choose a time to collect, order what they want to eat, add special instructions, if necessary, pay them with the card. retrieved and our order collected. absolutely gorgeous food hot and fresh will use this service again
