The restaurant looks very nice and warming. However I did not have the best experience, there was a few issues. First of all the chairs were comfortable but kinda low. The food was just ok to be honest. I had a house salad which was decent and my daughter had the lobster bisque which tasted good but it wasn’t very hot. We had the New York strip and there was no flavor that we had to put pepper and salt on it to make it somewhat better. Our sides were the steak fries which were very good along with the green beans which had excellent flavor. Our server laureen I believe her name was, was very sweet but kinda forgetful. Overall I don’t recommend.
We had reservations for New Year’s Eve at 8:30 pm and even though we were a bit early, we were seated immediately. We decided to try Seared because the special menu looked interesting and was very fairly priced. All of our selections were delicious and beautifully presented. Our waitress was personable and attentive to our needs and requests. We like the smaller, more intimate room and found the seats very comfortable. The entire evening was excellent and we plan to return.
Food and service were spectacular. The couch like chairs made me feel uncomfortable to get in and out of and the closeness of the tables makes the idea of ‘romance’ a little less than desired. It’s very pretty, just too compact in my opinion. Best martini, although I would’ve liked to see a little bigger cocktail menu for choices.
Our waiter, Tom, was great; but the waiting staff appeared underoccupied and the service was slow. In addition, the only vegetarian dish was offered Bland and unimaginative and the steak I had was overcooked. Overall, it was a disappointing dinner and we will not return. Natalie and everyone at Seared are consistently exceptional and incredibly friendly. You couldn't ask for a better dining experience.
We had a fantastic time at the Elf Pop-up experience. We will definitely be back next year when it returns. The food was amazing.
