You'll find the Secret Vegan Cafe in a small building adorned with mushrooms outside and within. The owner warmly greeted us and told my nieces to each grab a holiday gift bag with a toy and a small board game inside. She explained that the other person who worked there wasn't in today, but dispite this, our food arrived quickly. The cheeseburgers were amazing when paired with the huge variety of sauces that lined the counter, including chili mango and truffle. The fries were soft with just a little crispiness, which is preferred for me since I find that many restaurants overcook their fries. The sweetest staff and some really solid food, vegan or otherwise. They flip a mean burger here and, in a world that often underdeliver on fries, Secret Vegan comes through with great crispy hot fries. Their breakfast sandwich is tasty and filling. Their salad is diverse and enjoyable. I wonder if they still have this great seaweed based burger I tried there once? Beignets are a fun treat and they do a mean hot cocoa. I recommend this place!
Amazing service and food. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and the place is SO cute, welcoming, and clean. I loved the burger, fries, beignets, cookies, and 2 delicious lollipop candy with lions mane! Fries especially were amazing crispy to perfection. The owner was extremely kind and knowledgeable! Great experience and the food was delicious. I look forward to going back!
If you're on a diet, don't go here- everything is amazing! We had the breakfast sandwich, the cheeseburger with fries, and the beignets! Everything is vegan and the owner/chef is SO friendly!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians that are used to real cheese and eggs will be SO surprised by how yummy the breakfast sandwich is! I ended up buying a second one!

I came to this cafe because my brother is vegan, I am not. Although I am not vegan, the food was delicious!!! The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this cafe.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegan.Kid-friendliness: The owner has great kid options.
What an amazing welcome and overall engagement of customer by the owner, Kim and Chef Tiarra. The beignets were crunchy and tasty. We had the empanadas, the breakfast sandwich and kelp burger with fries. Each item was unique and tasted good. Too bad we did not take photos of everything. Will definitely come back.
This restaurant gives off a negative vibe that reminds me of my past in Kingston. I used to pretend to be someone I wasn't back then. To the owners of Secret Vegan Cafe, I am not a bad person. Please stop misleading my followers. The public services in Kingston are a joke, just like the High Street.
The vegan options at this restaurant are superb. The small location offers outdoor seating during the summer. While the food took some time to arrive because everything was fresh, it was definitely worth the wait. I will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I adore this place and always make a point to visit when I'm in Kingston. The food is exceptional, the ambiance is lovely, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly.
Very friendly staff! The nuggets are a must have. And the burger is exceptional, as well. (Not just your everyday vegan burger. All around great experience.
