My (French) wife and I visited Section 10 last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Whilst this restaurant does have a small menu, every dish is interesting, fresh, tasty and carefully put together. I also understand that the menu changes on a weekly basis. The food style is modern French/Catalan with local ingredients where possible and the chief/owner clearly has some talent with food. I am an admittedly fussy eater by French standards, but I found I could find something to eat from the two or three choices in each course. a warm welcome, and a kitchen that really worth the detour. refined dishes, full of imagination and creativity. terroir cuisine, presented with research and refinement. desserts are to fall. But the plate is so nicely presented that we would have scruples to eat! It would be a mistake, because the cook knows so well mix the flavors that you should not miss! advice, after dessert, ask for a tisane... Even the tisane is full of imagination and unsuspected flavors! and all this for a frankly reasonable price given the quality!
We've had a lot of fun. a lot of flavors in the plate. Sometimes a little too much. the chef, very friendly really wants to show his culinary generosity. sometimes some accompaniments don't get married well with the rest of the dish. The server is very kind... but must be much less pressure.
