the place is enchanting. we had lunch on the lake in the shade of green trees. good eating and honest prices. you can't say the same thing from the personal. the waiters are very friendly and helpful (although some speak English, or do not want. speak it, the menu is only in German .., the 'head waiter' but after a waitress let us sit on a table of six people (we were two with a child of 1 year and half, made us abruptly move and tell us this is a table of six people! Beyond that, if they move me after we've settled in, at least they help us move around the dinge, instead we even had to ask for the menus we've already given. from the series. friendliness and courtesy cannot be learned.
after more than 20 minutes waiting time left my children and I left the restaurant. the service has not paid us attention and we have the impression that we are not welcome here. probably because of nationality. the German-speaking guests around us were served. we just got drinks here. total time here 40 minutes. apparently the waiter chooses his guests. very bad experience.
Die Lage ist wirklich schön, direkt am Seeufer. Das Essen ist traditionell österreichisch, gut und nicht zu teuer. Der Service war hektisch und nicht sehr freundlich, obwohl der Platz nicht zu voll war. Irgendetwas muss sich geändert haben, wir haben in den vergangenen Jahren hier gegessen und der Service war in Ordnung.
The location is really nice, directly on the lakeshore. The food is traditional Austrian, good and not too expensive. The service was hurried and not very kind, even though the place was not too full. Something must have changed, we ate here in that past years and the service was OK.

it was a family dinner with my parents, we really enjoyed it. great location directly at the osssafe lake, fantastic view and peaceful place. Easy and tasty eating, absolutely friendly and helpful staff, also they have English menu as well.
The terrace under a number of old trees was an oasis. The outside temperature was around 38 degrees, but on the terrace it was nice and cool. The menue shows good Austria dishes and the staff is friendly. Great place to have dinner.
Ein gutes, solides Hotel zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Hätte mit echten Kartoffeln in irgendeiner Form zu einem Rindfleisch besser schmecken können als mit Pommes Frites. Der Service war großartig und hilfsbereit.
Sitting outside next to the shore of lake Ossiacher See with a spectacular sunset made this a very special evening! Service was excellent and so was the food.

A good a solid place at a reasonable price. Could have been better with real potatoes in some form to a beef than pommes frites. Service great and helpfull.
very unfriendly. satisfactory situation, but that is it. we stood up and went. I guess they rely on their location and do not worry about their service
