Seminarshof - Tisch reservieren

Seminarshof Hotel – we stayed one night, on our cycling trip, in this nice hotel (actually in their annex building a block away, behind the main hotel), and it was very nice. The annex is modern and seems newly refurbished, our room was very large with a peaked ceiling, a balcony with a nice view of the mountains and part of the town, a nice bathroom, with heated towel rack, and a very comfortable bed. It also had a large desk area, which was very useful for working at a laptop. The breakfast was offered in the annex building, with a good assortment of fruits, yogurt, breads, meats and cheeses, etc. The nearby pizza place (about the only place that was open for dinner on the Sunday night we...

Tried to book via website and email. No response. Having arrived in the village, I went with my wife to try to book for the evening. We were escorted out of the restaurant and told that if we could be there in 10 mins we would be served. Having experienced the hospitality of the service personnel, we decided not to try the capabilities of the chef.

This was an unplanned encounter and stay. After a long drive we got tired and stopped here for overnight and diner. That was a big surprise, very nice original and tasty dishes like Bluttwurststrudel and excellent wines to accompany it. We loved the grauburgunder.

So so food, very bad wines. Lack of self reflection of the stuff. Very poor experience. It is a shame to serve such a bad wines in the center of the prestigious Wine region. Awful coffe at the and!

We had a room in the guesthouse on the other side of the road. Plenty of room with an extra chamber for our daughter. Very clean and with a good breakfast.
