When my order arrived, the portion sizes were generous, and the food was very filling. The spicy pork was flavorful and had just the right level of heat. However, I was disappointed that, out of the three sides I ordered, I only received cucumbers. Instead, I got broccoli and another item that I hadn't requested. They offer a satisfying variety of banchan, along with the usual protein options, and I was pleased to see purple rice on the menu. If you prefer, you can even swap the rice for a vegetable base. Seoul Kitchen is our favorite restaurant in downtown Redwood City. While there are more comfortable and inviting places nearby, Seoul Kitchen provides a healthy and delicious meal that won’t empty your wallet. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere and a decent meal, consider Milagros on Middlefield. However, if you want a tasty, affordable, and healthier option, my partner and I both believe that Seoul Kitchen stands out above all other restaurants in the downtown area.
This is another fast-casual restaurant that follows the same concept as a burrito bar, which has been a popular trend for the last few years. The base flavors were quite enjoyable, and the sauces elevated the dishes even further. The service is quick, there are a few outdoor tables available, and the prices are reasonable. Additionally, the parking meter at the restaurant was broken, so I had to walk a block to find a functional one. What a hassle!
