After visiting The Seven Stars for the first-time last month for a Sunday roast I can highly recommend! I enquired to book a Birthday Sunday roast for a large group at relatively short notice and Namit (the restaurant manager) instantly put my mind at ease. He was super prompt to respond to any questions and really made my husband’s Birthday dinner a success! As a party of 25 (adults and kids) our food was all brought out quickly and together. The food was absolutely delicious and many of us agreed it was one of the best roasts we had had in a long time! We had a fantastic experience thanks to a beautiful pub, delicious food and brilliant staff. Thank you SO much Namit, we can’t wait to come...
We have dined at Seven Stars for dinner a few times and each experience has been fantastic. This time, we decided to try their Sunday roast and it turned out to be one of the best lunches we've ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly and we all enjoyed delicious desserts to finish off our meal. The sticky toffee dessert was particularly amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Overall, good service, and acceptable food. Room for improvement with the roast, and as others have noted, it’s unfortunately not as good as it used to be. Potatoes were undercooked, quality of beef was mediocre, and yorkshires needed improvement. Vegetables were great though, and a really friendly team, with a nice atmosphere.
Delicious dishes, perfectly cooked, very friendly staff, traditional village pub including some classy food. The menu had variety and novelty as well traditional choices. The dishes were innovative and tasty. The atmosphere was buzzing and although busy, the reception was very friendly and the food arrived quickly.

Admittedly this is my local but generally speaking I think that pub roasts aren’t as good as home made ones. However, I ate here with some friends and family for lunch and it was excellent we were all very impressed. I would thoroughly recommend this pub to everyone.
Just had Sunday lunch at the Seven Stars, with my wife and two friends. It was the best Sunday roast I have had in years, cooked to perfection, real very good compliments to the Chef. Lovely pub, and Staff , pub with an open fire, more could you want.
Pleasant midweek warm evening, sat outside. Bench seats not too comfortable for lingering anymore and no childrens' games as there used to be, so kids were bored. Food nice enough but not outstanding.
The highest quality food I’ve had in some considerable time. Beautiful environment, exceptionally warm and welcoming staff, clean fresh and an absolutely delightful experience.
