We spent a lovely evening in the cellar. The food was amazing and the service was really efficient. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines on offer too. Would definitely come back again. Thank you Paul for a great evening. You have done a terrific job with the restaurant menu and your hotel. The wine collection is extensive and you can just choose what you want from the wine racks. Great serves, well presented flavoursome food. We would highly recommend the Sevenhill Hotel for a meal. You won't be disappointed. Ask to eat in the cellar for something unique.
Had a drink at bar area prior to meal, made very welcome by owner/publican, had a good chat. When in the Dining room we were asked to visit the cellar to choose a wine, selection was fantastic white or red. Hotel catered for dining in the Cellar on this ocassion a bit chilly for us. On the night we both chose Porterhouse Steaks and being a connoisseur of steak (in my mind) this was one of the best. Everything on the night was great even my short black came with a small glass of soda water/sparkling water. Great pub great meal and fantastic staff. Wish you well
We visited Clare Valley, SA, looking for somewhere for lunch and came across the Sevenhills Hotel. We were more than pleasantly surprised , the food is excellent, definitely not your standard pub grub. The best food I have had for a long time, and the cellar underneath is unbelievable. Would definitely recommend and would be hard to drive past. The service was excellent, food excellent, just can't fault this place, pleasantly surprised.
We arrived without a reservation on a Wednesday night. Bar was full and there were two small groups in dining room with eight vacant tables. We requested a table for two, but were told Dining room was booked out.We were offered a meal in the noisy bar or in the Beer garden which was chilly and there was a German Sheperd dog with the only group eating out there. No mention of the cellar! We left!

Couldn't be happier. Met the very friendly and colourful locals in the bar then moved to a delicious dinner served in the cellar. What could be better. Great local wine selection.
It's pretty cool going and picking your wine out from the cellar underneath. You can also eat down there. Great food, and really good quick service. Worth a visit.
Omg.... we ordered off the pub grub part of the menu and were wonderfully treated with 2 very yummy tender and moist on site made schnitzels. Go there!!!!
The menu provides a gtreat selection of food which was well presented and service was prompt. Extensive wine cellar. Bookings advisable on the weekends.

Beautiful pub and great setting, we sat outside by the heaters. Great atmosphere, lovely cosy setting inside. Food for outstanding and great variety
